| The purpose of this site is to bring to the WWW the essence of a prototype CD-ROM project I designed and created called, "Golden Gate Park Interactive". The project was put together to earn my certificate in multimedia design and never made it to market. However, not wanting to waste the effort, I have created this site in hope that it might be found useful. Golden Gate Park is over 3 miles long and 9 blocks wide. At 1017 acres, few people have the time or inclination to explore the park thoroughly. This site will provide a way to investigate areas of the park that might otherwise go unnoticed, and then explored in person when time permits. Ideas and comments about the site are always welcome. |
